Well, as a student here at Museum I really think it is a wonderful school. Its just sad that another group of 6 graders wont be able to experience the wonderful 6th grade at Museum because in the 2007-2008 school year Museum Middel will no longer be a Middel school. Museum Middle School, is a very intent school, some of the time they run a little low on class supplies but all in all the teaches teach well, This year I am going to eigth grade, and boy am I excited. I've talked to the teachers personally, and I know that my teachers care. They helped me to succeed.

I'm an 8th grader at Museum. I love the school, and like many it's my second home. But such a wonderful school is being destroyed by budget problems. I was on all the girls teams. The quality of education given at this school is outstanding. The teaching staff is fabulous. They are genuinely concerned about the welfare of the students there. Safety has a lot to be desired but that is the fault of Yonkers Public Schools. The lack of safety officers and weak disciplinary actions

* In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
