This is a very good school. Very well run and a true feeling that the teachers care about the students. There are many wonderful teachers but one that truly stands out is Mrs Scozzare, she goes above and beyond for her students and the kids truly like her.

I only have good things to say about this school. The teachers are helpful and I have never had an issue with Mrs Manfredi. My son's kindergarten teacher, Mrs Ippolito, is a wonderful teacher for my son!

My daughter has just finished her first year at P.S.29 and I am extremely happy with this school! I think Ms.Manfredi does a GREAT job with this school, she is personable and very available to parents if there is a problem . ... Read more school!! I never thought my daughter would be reading a writing her own short stories coming out of Kindergarten!! But she is!!I think the ladies in the main office are very kind and eager to help in anyway. I am very glad that my daughter attends P.S.29 and in the event we might move I will purposely stay in this district so she can stay in enrolled here. Go Bengals!! Read less

Both my children attend PS29 . I myself ,have stoudied in a few different schools, and feel that I have avery good idea on what to expect from a school. PS 29 is an average school academically. It provides gym and music,which I am not satisfied with. I wish there would be more emphasis on reading and
... Read more math,especially for the higher grades. I also feel like most parents inquiries are not taken seriously, and concerns are brushed away quickly and quietly leaving the child and parent feeling injustice. Read less
* In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. The 2006-2007 results for English language arts are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. Math results will be added after their release by the New York State Education Department. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
