This was a good school, but not any more! I found it out too late! I'm very disappointed with the Principal's administration. Most senior teachers were gone. Our daugter is in the kindergarten. Typical weekly assignment is to read 5 level 2 books per week (about 20-30 min of reading daily). So the reading program is not bad. Our daughter attends Kindergarten at MNS. While it is supposed to be one of the best schools, my impression is very mixed. Some teachers try hard, others not. MNS is an excellent school that has been troubled in recent years by frequent changes of administration. Many of the senior teachers have left, so the teachers who remain, while very talented, are fairly junior. It remains strong on literacy.
