Academic programs are sound and follow DOD standards. Children get an excellent education. After school curriculum is well-rounded offering children variety. Music, art, gym during school day is touch-n-go. Parent involvement high & community is wonderful/pitches in.

The school's emphasis is both on scienece as well as arts. Dedicated, high quality teachers. Great experience for the firs five years of schooling for any kid. The classes are small. Parents are very much involved in all aspects of school. Great little community.

Beautiful school with wonderful extras: dance, music, gym, art and computer. Principal is new and not so dynamic but, overall, a great choice for a neighborhood school.

* In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. The 2006-2007 results for English language arts are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. Math results will be added after their release by the New York State Education Department. The tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New York. The goal is for 90% of students to meet or exceed grade-level standards on the tests.
