Students do not recieve the services they need. Dr. Lewis, the principal, is oblivious and dense. She is unaware of what is going on in her school. She only cares about appearances.

I feel that the school needs to take more pride in the interior of the school. There is paint peeling, the walls are a very depressing color , and the lighting is horrible. Those things have a huge affect on learning and behavior. It shows that no one really cares about the school.

This is my daughters first year in a public school. I found it to be a hard transformation for her. The students are much more active. Since Dr. Lewis has been principal of P. S. 123 things are getting a lot better. There is more concern for the kids and they are trying to implement programs which will help the children succeed on the standardized tests and in life.
