this school isnt good for transfer students. only the AP classes are worth showing up for. They valued attendance alittle too much in this school. Overall this school is okie, there are not enough clubs of interest or sports.

This High school offers its students more opportunities than most public high schools. The teachers and the parents form a force to be reckoned with. I absolutely count this high school as one of the top public schools in New York City.

Wonderful and caring teachers and adminstrators in an over-crowded and underfunded environment. Quality academics mix with diverse student population to create a great larning environment. * In 2005-2006 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science and physics are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
