NHP Memorial is a great school community with dynamics that foster the foundations of a strong education. It is the perfect school for students to mature through during their teenage years. ... Read more the 6 years together makes for strong friendships, grade camaraderie, and school spirit. The school has numerous activities to become involved in. Further, as for the young teachers, I think they invigorate the school especially with innovate styles. The fact that there are a variety of different teachers adds to the learning experience. Even so, there are a variety of extra help programs & of course, tutoring from the upperclassmen (another advantage of 7-12). Ultimately, the school & student have to work together & NHP certainly makes this possible; this is what I did & now attend an Ivy. Read less

This assessment is based on the past six years of experiences with two of my kids at NHP Memorial. Social Studies (including Model UN), English and Foreign Languages are the strong Academic areas. Math is decent while Music is on the decline. Discipline in school is OK but outside is not OK. Science

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
