Its just too bad that the Chancellor instead of rewarding excellence keeps punishing the school by taking more and more money from its budget -- just because all the students excel and pass the state exams with flying colors. I hope these setbacks doesnt takeaway from its greatness in the near future. Read less

The school is an excellent school which is not a surprise since it is a reflection of the family-oriented, affluent neighborhood that it's zoned for. I would wholeheartedly agree with other parents who say that PS 94 is a citywide top school. With that being said, there is however a slow but steady
... Read more erosion of very qualified teachers among its ranks. I am concerned about the future of the school. There are some disturbing elements within the school's culture of nepotism and flagrant favoritism. This has to be a product of the principal's leadership. Perhaps a different leadership direction can ensure the school's reputation of excellence in the future. Hopefully it will not be too late. Read less

* In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. The 2006-2007 results for English language arts are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. Math results will be added after their release by the New York State Education Department. The tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New York. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
