Im in the nurisng program at Hillcrest and i must say the program is very excellent. Your taking both College classes and H.S classes, so you must be commited and ready to take this on. the school hillcrest is great. Alot of parents think that it is a horrible schoola dn is in a bad area, but you have to think of your kids first. I think Hillcrest is a wonderful school and has a lot to offer to its students, the teachers are always willing to give extra help and they have get extra help programs for the SAT test.

The teachers at Hillcrest are wonderful and patient educators. The children on the other hand need a lot of discipline. I don't blame the teachers nor the principle but their parents. Appears to be an average school. Seems to have problems with discipline and with motivating the kids to aspire to excellence.

* In 2005-2006 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science and physics are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
