do a great job with what they have? Last year the school had a basketball team, step team, gospel choir, and a cheerleading squad. None of which we the parents had to put out any money. Yes, the teachers are very pleasant and there are good teachers beyond grade K. The new administration had to come into a position where students, parents, and teachers basically did whatever they wanted, and the new administration will not tolerate it, and many parents don't like being held accountable. Get over yourselves. HTLCS is a very good. Read less

The academic programs are very poor. There is no good reason to send your child to this school unless he/she is in Pre-K or K, which have great teachers this year. My child will not continue at this school. The administration is very unpleasant and uncooperative, even when it comes to safety issues.

The academic curriculum is poor.My child is in 3rd grade now and the teacher doesnot have the necessary supplies to prepare the lessons properly. Turnover of teachers and administration is high, which in turn reflects on the decreasing quality of the academic programs. The school at present doesnot

have a music or computer teacher and there are no extracurricular activities for the children to engage in at this time. The teaching staff who are on hand are very pleasant but the current administraton leadership is poor. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
