I think 119 is a very good school. My daughter has been there 2 yrs. and they have help her to better herself in many ways.

Its very clean the teacher care so much about the students and my son is leaarning stuff that my nephew is learning in high school so that shows that I.S.119 is ahead of many junior high schools

My daughter is in her senior year here.This is one on the best middle schools in the neighborhood. I feel that my daughter was academically challenged by most of her teachers. This school is a disappointment to me. I thought moving to Queens would be beneficial for my son's education, and instead it has been a huge mistake! i attend 119 and have attended for 3 years now.this is my senior year,and it is overall a good school.the only problem is that they dont listen to what kids want and the school had a much friendlier enviorment when there werent academies.i am an sp student and feel that i am not challenged enough ltough ...  Read more
