i dont like this school at all. they dont give the students time to go to their lockers in between classes making them carry these heavy book bags. this can cause serious back problems. they also dont have enough school supplies nor teams. they to put the students in more activities.

... Read more holding the students to such high standards and giving them valuable tools to take with them to high school, they are going to need it. I also want to add that in my experience with the school I never have to worry about the safety of my sons. The teachers, deans and assistant principals have a strict attitude when it comes to student behavior and hold the kids responsible for their actions, attendance and punctuality. I would highly recommend IS 25 to parents considering the school. Read less

* In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. The 2006-2007 results for English language arts are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. Math results will be added after their release by the New York State Education Department. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
