her for high school and college. The teachers were always supportive. The school provides a safe, family environment. I feel young girls are very fortunate to attend this unique school and would give her a great opportunity for a successful academic future. In addition, an all girl school keeps them focused on their academics!!! I could not imagine my daughter attending any other school. Read less

My daughter attends the 7th grade. I have no complaints what so ever. The teachers are so polite and well educated. The only thing you must worry about is ps 104 up the block.

Visitation Academy is the 'BEST KEPT SECRET IN BROOKLYN'.I am glad that my daughter attended this school. The grounds are beautiful and the teachers are kind. They have a wonderful Principal. Girls feel safe, and I was a working Mom, so I knew my daughter was in good hands.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
Gifted and Talented

Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
