Well.. The school is great. But some teachers are not. Children are graded unfairly and not according to their knowledge but according to likes and dislikes.

I have 2 children in PS 195. This school is known for a good reputation but the teacher is the one that makes all the difference. My son finished kindergarten-excellent program in the regular class, although there was a gifted-talented program as well. He is reading fluently, and not just one syllable plain words, but books for kids in 2nd, 3rd grade. Great art program, safety and discipline are top notch.
