If the old principal hadnot been outed I would have given 5 stars. best 4 years of my life both academically and socially because of the wonderful environement and expectation of excellence.

BTHS is truly an outstanding school. The faculty is dedicated and inspiring. With over 4000 students, it is not for everyone but for a highly motivated self-starter, it is a wonderful place. This is a great school. Not for the stupid or lazy. It is for motivated students who want to work and achieve success. As a current student, I can praise it greatly. Anyone that leaves just doesnt deserve to be there.

This school is not where I would want to send my child to. My daughter was accepted to BTHS and it was the worst experience of both our lives. Simply put, the Teachers, Staff and Administration do not care about the students. Parents think twice about sending your child to this school. My daughter ...  Read more

This is an excellent school, the classes are challenging and very difficult, you have to be intelligent to be in this school. This has nothing negative about it, if a student doesn't like this school, it's because they can't handle the challenges.

* In 2005-2006 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science and physics are displayed in GreatSchools profiles.
