I just graduated from this school. I think the school environment and the students there are just bad. There's fights almost everyday, students cutting class constantly wandering the hallways and other things. But based on the education given, its pretty good, just depends a bit. I was put in honors
... Read more classes in each grade, in the 8th grade in honors they allow the seniors,who really want to learn and get an education, the right to take Math A and Earth Science Regents classes. This school is trying to improve, they made each floor a different academy. Academy of Performance and Visual Arts, Academy of Exploration, and the Academy of Math and Science. Read less

I go to this school. Honestly the school isnt half bad because you actually have teachers in the school who cares about the students. Teachers like Ms.Barret and Mr.Gnaghi just to name a few would give up there lunch to help the students. But I believe that the Changes made to the school is bad mostly
... Read more the uniform because it doesnt give the kids the freedom to express who they are by what they wear. I believe we come to school to learn not to be jugded on by what we where. * In 2006-2007 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, in grades 4 and 8 in science and in grades 5 and 8 in social studies. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
