For example, for 4th grade's mandatory science project, every student has to come up with an invention or innovation. And the kids have to come up with the idea in 2 days (from requirement sent home on Tuesday ...  Read more

My son who's in 2nd grade likes the school and teachers. However, if you re a single parent or both parents are working it's hard to keep up with all the homework. Test scores for Silver Oak Elementary School

CST* Test Scores

Grade Level:

Test Year: 2007
Silver Oak Elementary School
Evergreen School District
California

* In 2006-2007 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts and math in grades 2 through 11; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8, 10 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.
